82 K residents to continue travel free in Astana

Around 82 thousand welfare beneficiaries live in Astana.
According to Astana Mayor's Office welfare beneficiaries involves World War II veterans and people with equal status (2 208 people), old-age pensioners (57 452 people), disabled people of group I, II, III groups (13 295 people), retired form law enforcement agencies (5,144 people), mothers of large families (3809 people).
All these people (81 908 people) will continue to travel by public transport free.
It should be noted members of Astana city maslikhat approved raising of fares for travel by public transport from 60 to 90 tenge for adults and from 20 to 40 tenge for children from August 31, 2014.
