10 finalists of Energy Champions Startups Contest unveiled
On 1 August, the admission of applications for the Champions of Energy Contest ended. Seventy-eight people from different regions of Kazakhstan decided to try their hand. By the current time, the jury of the Contest selected 10 finalists of all the works, which they believed to be the most interesting projects. These 10 participants will have the opportunity to present and to defend their applications before the jury, who will consider the presentations and discussions and determine the winner. The winner’s name will be known on 16 August. The main prize is 4 million tenge.
Each members of the contest jury will assess the projects of the finalists independently by five criteria: innovative component, economic viability, competitiveness, social significance technological solution impact on the environment
For a successful presentation of the project, each finalists will participated in a training workshop on “Project Management”, which will help them to perform and defend their works adequately and competently, according to EXPO 2017 official website.
