Chairman of Kazakh Supreme Court reported President on progress over H1 2014
Nursultan Nazarbayev emphasized the Government’s reorganization aimed at more comfortable conditions for business.
“In this regard, we employ another approach to regulate entrepreneurships oriented for the reduction of inspections. Following the moratorium for inspections till 2015 the situation has not getting worse. This pint to the fact that many procedures of authorization system are profanation,” the President stated.
According to the Head of State, new codes will go in effect from January 1, 2015. It should focus on applying of economic sanctions against breakers and decrease of prison population.
The Chairman of the Supreme Court reported on administration of justice in the country. For the past six months the number of petitions and cases increased by 9,5 percent compared the same period of 2013. The number of civil cases involving mediation increased from 475 to 1911.
Kairat Mami informed on development of electronic proceedings and on preparation to IX session of Chairmen of Supreme Courts of the Shanghai Cooperation Organizations scheduled on September 4-5 in Astana.
In conclusion the Head of State gave a number of special instructions on court system development.
