Innovative facilities increased twice in E Kazakhstan region over last 5 years

A number of innovative enterprises in the area has increased by more than twofold and reached 99 units over the last 5 years, according to the Information Center of East Kazakhstan region.
According to head of the department of business and industrial-innovative development Shakarim Buktugutov, the new five-year plan in the region will give preference to the development of metallurgical cluster.
“Development of metallurgical cluster, which is a single production complex with extraction, beneficiation and metallurgical processing subdivisions will be continued,” he noted.
A list of priority industry sectors of the region will be added by the engineering industry in connection with the adoption of a number of government programs aimed at the development of the automotive and engineering industries in Kazakhstan.
Third priority will be energy. Energy cluster will help to develop the sector "of the economy of the future."
