Draft Anti-corruption Program discussed in Almaty
The organizers are Institute of public policy of Nur Otan Party together with analytical group KIPR.
Representatives of the Nur Otan Party, Institute for Public Policy under the Party, experts, political scientists, economists, social scientists, policy analysts, NGOs, entrepreneurs, human rights defenders, journalists, commentators, and others participated in the discussion,” a statement reads.
The participants agreed the fighting against corruption requires constant new initiatives and system of an institutional, legislative, civil nature, and broad public support - the public, businesses, the public and civil sector experts as well. Proposals and amendments to the draft anti-corruption program, which will be considered while preparing the final document were made during the meeting.
The project is currently discussed by primary Party organizations and political council of the regional branches of the Party. More than 420 proposals and additions have already made to the project. 100 proposals were received from experts, 302 of the primary organizations of the 9 members of the Parliament, 10 offers came by email.
