“About 300 volunteers of the "Kazakhstan 2050" nationwide movement, will travel to rural areas to educate students from the local rural schools September 15 within the framework of the project "Ziyatker urpak”,” head of the council of the nationwide movement “Kazakhstan-2050” Danat Zhumin informed at CCS media briefing on Wednesday.
As D. Zhumin noted the problem of poor quality of education in rural areas is a national task where the state alone will fail.
“Being a civil society we should participate in this problem solving. Currently there are some gaps in the quality of education between urban and rural schools. Today, we see a great lack of qualified teachers in rural areas, and the only cannot solve this problem," he said.
