Operating meeting of Kyzyolrda region’s Governor was held today to discuss a number of hot issues of the region, the regional administration reported.

Preparedness of schools for the cold season was the focus of the meeting.

58 schools will be repaired capitally and 27 new schools are expected to be built. In general, winterization is on schedule,” head of regional education department Nauryzbai Baikadamov.

According to the head of the region Krymbek Kusherbayev, 58 repaired schools and 27 new ones will significantly ease the situation with emergency schools. "We have already solved the issue of three-shift education, and in the next year we are going to eliminate the emergency school completely and to implement the program "Balapan" in advance. As for the preparedness to the heating season, chief inspectors visited all areas and familiarized themselves with the state of the schools of the region. By the beginning of the heating season, all schools should be equipped with all necessary,”  he said.
