Over 2K sportsmen took part in Spartakiade in Kostanay rgn

Governor of Kostanay region Nuraly Saduakassov visited Batyr stadium where sport competitions started up in frames of XXIX regional Spartakiade “Tyn Tselina 2014”.
Sportsmen had to compete for compete for prizes in such sports as basketball, volleyball, football, athletics, boxing, wrestling, freestyle, Greco-Roman wrestling, judo, weight lifting, table tennis, air rifle shooting, togyzkumalak and chess.
"Healthy lifestyle and sports is the basis of health. That is why in recent years we have actively taken up the renovation and construction of new sports facilities. This year two new sports complex in Kostanai Kostanai region were opened,” the Governor said during the welcoming speech.
It should be noted, theatrical performance, laser show and concerts by the Kazakhstan's and Russian pop stars took place as a part of the opening ceremony. A firework crowned the event.
