Forum on 'green' town planning priorities to be held in Almaty

A three-day XII town planning forum “Priorities of “green” urban development in Kazakhstan,” organized by the Kazakhstan Urban Planners Union together with scientific educational center “Green Academy” will kick off today ij Almaty, the city Mayor’s Office informs.
"The purpose of the workshop is to increase the capacity of the domestic construction companies in the "green" economy methodology of and international training BREEAM and LEED "green" standards in the run-up to Expo-2017" a statement reads.
The participants will familiarize in details with principles and advantages of the “green” construction, basic criteria and requirements of the international BREAM (Britain) and LEED (U.S.) “green” standards.
Representatives of construction companies and project institutions: National Company Astana EXPO 2017, Urbostyle, Kazgiprograd 1, KazNIICA, ARKAZ ENGINERRING and others will attend the meeting.
