Second wave of privatization: President may depend upon us - Utepov
Chairman of State property and privatization Committee of the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan Eduard Utepov gave an exclusive interview to IA Strategy2050.kz in which he told on realization of privatization and noted the President’s assignment on bidding’s transparency is realized accurately.
As for the second wave of privatization the President may depend upon us. The electronic bidding is our power. Another importan moment is our interaction with other participants of the program i.e. local government, social entrepreneurship corporations, national holdings and companies,” he said.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Committee reported that 850 objects are planned to be sold as part of the second wave of privatization.
“75 national holdings, 75 national corporations, 126 communal property, generally 295 objects will be sold within the second wave of privatization. Totally 853 objects are determined for the sale up to 2016, but this list is constantly being updated," Mr. Utepov informed.
In addition, according to him, the buyers will have great benefits as they can see all points of sale in the framework of the second wave of privatization (republican, municipal property and the property of socio-entrepreneurial corporations and national holdings) on the state property Register web portal (www.gosreestr.kz), and to obtain the necessary information about the financial and economic position of the object, its appraised value, the terms of the sale, the auction results.
