4 of 79 candidates - current Senate members

"Four of 79 applicants are current members of the Senate; Sarsenbai Yenssengenov from Atyrau region, Sergei Plotnikov from East Kazakhstan region, Yerbulat Mukaev from West Kazakhstan region, Mikhail Bortnik from Mangystau region,"  Foos siad. 

According to him, by vocation: 4 are  the Senate members. 33 - employees of state agencies, organizations, enterprises and institutions, 28 - employees of commercial structures, 13 - workers of science, culture, education and health, 1 - other.

Currently, all of the  are  undergoing quailification testting.

It bears reminding for registration candidates should be supported at least by ten percent of the votes of the total membership of all Maslikhats.

"This support is confirmed by the signatures of Maslikhats memebrs . By the way the elector should to sign for only one candidate. The signature of the Maslikhat member following the registration of the candidate in the Senate is revoked only by a court decision,” he added.

“The registration of candidates by elective committees of regions and Astana and Almaty cities will lasts till September 11,” the Deputy Chairman resumed.
