Foreign Ministry: Sweden – Kazakhstan’s trade partner among Northern Europe countries

Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Alexey Volkov handed in Certificate of Merit by President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kingdom of Sweden to Kazakhstan Mr. Manne Vangborg for his contribution to the Kazakh-Sweden cooperation development on the occasion of the diplomatic mission completion, according to the foreign ministry of Kazakhstan.
Diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Sweden were established in 1992. Arrival of Manne Vangborg in Kazakhstan in 2010 as the first Ambassador of Sweden to the Republic of Kazakhstan opened a new page in bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Sweden.
A variety of important events that have given new impetus to political dialogue and to promote trade and economic cooperation between our countries were held during his tenure as Ambassador.
