Kazakhstan & Russia discussed interaction at Eurasian space

President Nazarbayev and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and regional interaction at the Eurasian space by phone, the President’s press service reported.
The Presidents exchanged their views on the Ukraine crisis situation and on joint measures to hold direct talks with Ukraine President in different formats, including within the Customs Union member states and Ukraine or special meeting of the CIS heads.
Besides, a forthcoming meeting of Presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Sochi to approach the sides’ position was also touched upon during the telephone conversation.
Russian President Vladimir Putin informed the Head of State on measures taken by the Russian side to limit import of agricultural products and food from several countries. It was noted, it is a
unilateral measure that doesn’t involve other CU and SES member states.
