E Kazakhstan-Russian trade turnover over 5 months equal to $ 700 bln
“The trade turnover between East Kazakhstan region and Russia amounted 700 billion dollars over the last five month largely due to the CU work. In addition we expect a lot of from the EAEU. I would like to note we create all conditions to provide work of the Russian businessmen. Thus, there are 250 joint Kazakh-Russian enterprises. I ask for your assistance concerning the requirement of additional certificates and licenses on the part of some companies, although under the terms of the Customs Union, they are applied in the country where the business operation takes place. And also on signing of an agreement on the construction of nuclear power plants in Kurchatov,” B.Saparbayev said.
Meanwhile, according to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, the corresponding agreement will be signed in the near future, and as for the CU issues, Russia is also interested in the fact that "the agreements reached within the CU entered into force as fast as possible."
