Pavlodar rgn’s GRP amounted to KZT 353 billion

Volume of gross regional product of Pavlodar region for the first quarter 2014 amounted to 353.2 billion tenge with increase by 5.8 percent to the analogues period of the last. These data were announced at the session of the Government of the region where outcomes of social economic development of the first half of 2014 were summarized.
At the national level, the share of the region's GRP was 4.7%, increased by 0.2% compared to last year. GRP per capita amounted to 469.1 thousand tenge and the region is ranked 6th in the order of the regions.
In addition, it was noted that, despite the government provides significant support to small and medium-sized businesses, there is a decrease in business activity in a number of districts.
In this regard the head of the region Kanat Bozumbayev has instructed to take a note on the fulfillment of all projects under the FIID state program and support the enterprises of the region in solving different problematic issues.
