88.9% of population provided for municipal water - Kazakh Competition Protection Agency

According to the Agency for the Protection of Consumer Rights, share of population provided for water has amounted 88.9 percent in 2013 year.
82 percent of population has been provided for water in 2009; 87.7 percent – in 2012 and 88.9 percent- in 2013.
Due to realization of Ak Bulak state program, more than 40 thousand of population were provided for municipal water.
The Agency cites data on water quality. 1.4 percent of municipal water samples came short of the sanitary chemical standards, 1.2 percent of water samples – of the microbiological standards. These data were 2 and 1.5 percent respectively compared with 2012 and 2.4 and 1,7 percent –in 2010.
