Urban construction forum "Kazakhstan 2014" to be held in Almaty
In the framework of successful implementation of the Concept on transition of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the green economy and EXPO-2017 preparation the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan initiated the three-day workshop-training on green construction.
The purpose of the workshop is to increase the potential of domestic construction companies in the field of the green economy methodology and to teach the BREEAM and LEED international standards.
The programme of the workshop includes issues on implementation of the green principles in the construction sector, demonstration of the green buildings’ advantages, familiarization with the main criteria and requirements of the BREEAM and LEED international green standards, buildings assessment in accordance with these standards, etc.
