New mode of payment for work provides compensating and stimulating bonuses

Speaking at press conference in Central Communications under the President of Kazakhstan in Astana on July 15, 2014, Minister of Labor and Science Protection of Kazakhstan Tamara Duissenova informed the bonuses and raises would be divided into two types: compensating and stimulating.
“The every industry has its own bonus system to provide additional payments and allowances, and currently it has happened so that together they have reached 70%. According to the new model we divided bonuses I two types compensating (for harm, for an extra load) and stimulating (for quality of work, result)," Duissenova said.
“The optimization of bonuses and raises will allow to strengthen dependence of the amount of salary on the quality and results of work,” she added.
In addition, according to the Minister, 300 billion tenge will be allocated from the republican budge for an introduction of the new model of payment.
