Astana eliminates illegal landfill sites

Elimination of the unauthorized landfill sites took place in Almaty district in Astana, the press service of the mayor’s Office informed.
Illegal landfill sites threat to the at the territory of “Shchebsklad” cottage community in Promyshlenny residential area. 5 loading vehicles and 6 trucks were invoved in the process
Moreover ecological post and signs banning garbage unloading have been installed by inspectors of internal affairs department of Almaty district.
Following the campaign 5 cases of garbage unloading in inappropriate places have been unveiled, the owners of vehicles have been brought to administrative responsibility in accordance with the Administrative Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in this regard, they have to pay the penalty totaling 40 MCI.
