NIS teachers completed internship at HAMK University

Pedagogical internship of 12 teachers working at Nazarbayev Intellectual schools who passed a contest of “Bolashak” Centre of International Programs in June, 2013 finished successfully.The internship program was based on the latest innovations of Finnish and European pedagogy of secondary school’s upper grades.

The internship program was based on the latest innovations of Finnish and European pedagogy of secondary school’s upper grades. Pedagogical process comprised essential themes and innovations in net and dialogical learning and evaluation of new training methods.

During the internship process the teachers not only took part in internship educational program as observers but also conducted lessons at Finnish schools, consulted various specialists in educational field, had speech with their own presentations at different conferences and seminars. The study included a number of educational seminars and group visits to various educational institutions and organizations. During the internship the teachers had an opportunity to visit some types of Finnish schools, vocational colleges and universities of Hameenlinna city, Finland. Living in Finland teachers managed to acquaint themselves with history and culture of the country and its people, to visit some museums and exhibitions, the official website of the Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools reported.

To conclude the internship NIS teachers successfully defended their own research projects in front of the staff members of HAMK University, Finland. In the result of the internship a rich theoretical and practical material about modern development of European education was gathered and scientific contacts were set. Also a foundation for future mutual partnership relations with HAMK University of Applied Sciences was laid.
