Secretary of State met with Italian Ambassador Alberto Pieri

Secretary of State of Kazakhstan Adilbek Dzhaksybekov met with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Italian Republic to Kazakhstan Alberto Pieri, the press service of Akorda informed.
The Kazakh Secretary of State congratulated Mr. Pieri on diplomatic mission eventual success and expressed gratitude for the significant contribution to the strengthening of bilateral relations in policy, economy and culture.
The interlocutors also touched upon current situation and further prospects including coordination concerning holding of EXPO 2015 in Milan and EXPO 2017 in Astana.
Italy is the third trade partner of Kazakhstan among all foreign trade partners and the first – among the European states. The Kazakh-Italian trade turnover has exceeded 16.2 billion dollars in 2013.
