Zhenis Kassymbek held the meeting on status of road sites in Mangistau region
Currently, at the Aktau – Beineu section, 4 contractor organizations are performing works on 10 sections. Total mileage of the Aktau – Beineu road is 470 km, of which 370 km are funded from Asian Development Bank (ADB). Construction of the rest 100 km is funded from national budget, the official website of the Ministry of Transport and Communications informed.
In 2012, the construction works were started by Turkish “Alsim Alarko” company at the section 200 km long. In 2013, traffic was opened on 100 km. This year, it is planned to accomplish the construction works on 200 km.
For the remaining 170 km of road, the contractor organization has been defined – “Jengiz Inshaat” (Turkey)/ To date, the contract has been signed, and in August this year, the construction works are to start. Full completion of construction is estimated in 2016.
