8 July, 2014 15:27
Interregional business form on discussion of competitive small and medium sized business within the Eurasian Economic Union was held in Petropavlovsk. Entrepreneurs of four regions of Kazakhstan: North Kazakhstan, Kostanay, Pavlodar and Akmola regions attended the forum.
According to the Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund Chairwoman of Entrepreneurship Development Committee of the Ministry of Regional Development Galia Dzholdybaeva noted that about 2.6 million (about31 % of working population) Kazakhstani people are involved in doing business. Of course, this is not enough. Therefore it is necessary to create new production, actively use the “Business Roadmap 2020".
However, the forum also discussed issues on which it is necessary to work in order to compete in the business sector in connection with the entry into the EAEU from 1 January 2015.
