Delegation of students and professors of the Nazarbayev University visited China

In 2013, Xi Jinping invited 200 students and professors from Nazarbayev University to visit China during his official visit to Kazakhstan, according to  official website of the Nazarbayev University. 

Delegation’s trip was through 3 main Chinese cities – Shanghai, Beijing, Xian’.

In each city industrial companies, cultural and historical centers were presented, as well as Great wall and Forbidden City and other sights.

Meeting with President of China Xi Jinping became key moment of the trip .

During his welcome speech Xi Jinping pointed out that China and Kazakhstan were good neighbors and the two peoples had a natural feeling of closeness towards each other. “President Nazarbayev and I are close friends and we have maintained frequent communication and contacts, and have jointly discussed the approaches to promote the development of bilateral relations, to strengthen cooperation and to deepen friendship between the two peoples. Sound relations between states lie in amity between peoples. The key to amity between peoples lies in the bilateral exchanges between the youth. I hope that by this visit, you can know a real China and have a good memory of it. I believe that you will become builders of the China-Kazakhstan friendship in the future,"  Xi Jinping said.
