President attended flag-raising ceremony

A flag-raising ceremony with the participation of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev took place in Astana.
The traditional solemn flag-raising ceremony by the First President of the country means official start of the Day city celebration.
Head of State - the Supreme Commander of Armed Forces presented officers - epaulettes to graduates of the military institutions.
This year 12 honors graduates of higher education institutions such as the Military Engineering Institute of Radio Electronics and Communications, Military Institute of Land Forces of the Ministry of Defense, Border Service Academy of the Kazakh National Security Committee, Kokshetauskiy Technical Institute of the Ministry of Emergencies and Military Institute of the National Guard of Kazakhstan joined the officers ranks.
