Senate prepares to Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions

Today the Kazakh Senate has discussed a preparation to the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.
The Senate Chairman, head of Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has held a working meeting on preparation to the XIII session of the Secretariat of the Congress which is scheduled on September 18 2014 in Astana.
It should be noted the session will be a preparatory stage to the V Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, the Senate’s press service reports
The Senate speaker stressed the importance of the spiritual forum for Kazakhstan, which was initiated by President Nursultan Nazarbayev, and outlined his vision for the conceptual, ideological and political aspects of this important forum, and gave relevant instructions.
