3 July, 2014 11:53
An unusual game Bumper Ball has appeared in Kazakhstan. The festive event will be held on the square in front of Kazakh Eli monument on July 5, 6 and 7.
It’s an unusual football game with participants wearing special balloons trying to kick a goal. The game has conquered many countries. And now as part of the City Day it will be organized for Astana citizens and guests of the city.
The first match of this unusual football was held in the end of 2011 in Norway, and then this attraction started gaining popularity. Only legs of a bumper ball player are free, so it’s hard to keep the balance. This is the funny part of the bubble ball. Sometimes the competition reminds sumo wrestling. The game lasts up to 30 minutes. It can involve children above 5 years of age because there are no traumas in this kind of sport, astana.kz reported.
