Kazakhstan in figures: Annual coal-mining volume in republic amounted over 100 mln tons

The annual volume of coal-mining in the republic amounts to more than 100 thousand tons.
Approximately 51 percent is used by coal, heat and power plants, 31 percent is exported overseas, 13 percent is used for heating needs of budget organizations and the population, 5% - for industrial enterprises.
According to the information of the Agency for Protection of Competition, the Registry within the borders of the Republic of Kazakhstan include such the largest coal mining companies as "Bogatyr Coal" Ltd and a group of individuals as part of "Shubarkol" LLP and "Eurasian Energy Corporation" JSC at the all-in share of over 50 percent.
