Head of State congratulated Muslims on the beginning of Ramadan

Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has visited the new mosque unveiled today in Astana. The Head of State congratulated the Muslims of Kazakhstan on the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, the Presidential press service reports.
"This month people will observe fasting which was revealed in the Quran. All people should think of good, happiness, unity, tolerance, assistance, forgiveness and absolution of sins. I wish all the Muslims to withstand rigour of fasting during Ramadan," the President said.
During the veisit of the new mosque, the Head of State noted this mosque is the eighths in the capital.
The total area of the new mosque stretching over 8 ha is 1087,6 thousand sq m. It may host up to 1,500 daily visitors.
