IAEA Regional Seminar held in Astana

Regional seminar of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) development of the personnel training’s national strategy and radioactive waste management takes place in Astana.
Representatives of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, the Russian Federation, Montenegro, Tajikistan and Ukraine take part in the event, the press service of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies informed.
The IAEA methodology of the on development of the personnel training’s national strategy to ensure security of ionizing radiation usage, their transportation and radioactive waste management are the key items of the agenda.
Besides, the participants share their experience of such strategies’ development.
