Almaty hosts Forum on gas strategy of Central Asia
Strategy of the gas industry in Central Asia, issues of implementation of current and future projects of gas production, gas processing, gas distribution on the territory of Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan were toushed upon during the meeitng, the press service of the authority informed.
"The project for the extraction of coal seams and gasification of Astana before the EXPO is in line with the country's goals set by the President. The organization of production and processing of methane to yield new chemistry products are not produced in Kazakhstan is also possible,"acting Director of the Department of Gas Industry of the Ministry of Oil and GAs Akzhol Ospanov said.
