Fountains in Astana represent inimitable decoration of the capital, they are diverse in design and equipped with modern devices. Almost all modern fountains are operated through software regulating the movement and changing of patterns, light and music. The key moment in construction of any fountain is water actuation through pressure created by pumps.
It’s worth noting that “Astana-Zelenstroy” JSC is engaged in maintenance of 36 city fountain complexes, including such procedures as sanitary maintenance of fountain basins, adding chemical agents to the water, maintenance of technological and electrical equipment. Currently the enterprise is responsible for 36 fountain complexes consisting of 120 fountains.
“Traditionally all fountains in the city are started in the Morning on May 1. Mostly all fountains are turned on at 08.00 and work till 24.00, and 2 service breaks are provided over a day, usually from 11.00 to 12.00 and from 16.00 to 17.00.”
