Nursultan Nazarbayev charges to change practice of fields use
"The major priority task is to accept changes in the law on subsoil and subsurface use. It is necessary to simplify cardinally systems of providing the rights to investigation, to be protected from practice of unreasoned speculation by fields.
If someone received a field, and still sits, doing nothing doesn't put and gives nobody. It is necessary to continue to deal with this business and who doesn't invest, doesn't develop (a field - edition specification) - it will be returned to the state or it is provided to other investors. So we will be able to attract new investments into geological exploration," Nazarbayev declared.
As the Head of state noted, it is necessary to provide mechanisms according to obligatory requirements to investors on assistance of diversification of our economy at a stage of the conclusion of contracts and modification.
Also, for assistance to development of economy and to attraction of investments, with the decree President of RK charged to the government to provide till January 1, 2014 development of a legislative basis of activity of the national managing director of Bayterek holding.
