Kazakhstan launched 'Interactive map' pilot project

Today, Committee of Geology and Subsoil use of the Ministry of Industry and New Technology of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter – Committee) launches a pilot version of the project "Interactive map placement of existing facilities for solid minerals of the Republic of Kazakhstan" http://imap.geology.gov.kz/, the press service of the authority reported.
The Interactive map was designed within the Memorandum between the Committee and Kazzinc Ltd from November 27, 2013. The Aim of the document is providing of information about occupied and free contract areas online, and increases the investment attractiveness of the country to the geological industry as well.
It should be noted this is a pilot project. The Interactive map will further developed including plotting all kinds of geological knowledge throughout Kazakhstan.
