Presentation of Concept of the World Anti-Crisis Plan in Geneva
Surrender of documents was held in Switzerland at the platform of public symposium of the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
On June 18-19 the UNCTAD public symposium was held in Geneva at the Palace of Nations. An official event dedicated to the fiftieth anniversary of this authoritative international organization was attended by the head of the «Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists» Association (hereinafter – the Association) Murat Karimsakov, who made a presentation on «Optimal global economic system for equality and sustainable development for the period after 2015».
On behalf of participants of the II World Anti-Crisis Conference Murat Karimsakov handed the concept of the World Anti-Crisis Plan to high-ranking participants of the symposium: the UN Secretary General – Ban Ki-moon, the UNCTAD Secretary-General – Mukhisa Kituyi, Deputy Director General of the World Trade Organization – David Shark and the Secretary General of the World Trade Center – Arancha Gonzalez.
In turn, Mr. Ban Ki-moon stressed the importance and special relevance of the concept of the World Anti-Crisis Plan in the light of preparation of the the United Nations Development Post Agenda – 2015. Moreover, Mr. Ban Ki-moon on behalf of the UN Secretariat expressed willingness to make a strong contribution to assist in the formation and filling of the World Anti-Crisis Plan.
The «Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists» Association is an independent reviewer of the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) since 2013. Mr. Karimsakov expressed his hope that the concept of the World Anti-Crisis Plan will receive necessary support on the part of the international community and will serve as the beginning of the global dialogue.
In the course of public symposium dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the UNCTAD macroeconomic aspects of inequality were analyzed, and the issues of necessity to unite the world community around common problems were also discussed. The symposium is an annual event of the UNCTAD, where representatives of governments, civil society, private sector, academicians and other observers take part in discussions on current political and economic topics.
