Air Astana laucnhes 'Almaty-Barcelona' direct flight

During the meeting, Marat Igaliyev has presented Concept of Kazakhstan’s tourism industry development till 2020 and expressed interest in experience exchange between countries. Besides, the Chairman of Committee for Tourism Industry informed Air Astana will launch direct flight Almaty-Barcelona starting from June 21 this year.

Flights from Almaty to Barcelona will be operated by Boeing-757 aircraft twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays, from Barcelona in Almaty on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Spain to Kazakhstan Manuel Larrotcha Parada noted up to 60 million tourists visit Spain annually.  By the way, 52 international airports operate in Spain, he added.

Besides, Manuel Larrotcha Parada is ready to cooperate in exchange of experiences and ideas in tourism industry.
