Donor campaign devoted to Day of Capital held in Astana
"Blood sampling stations are opened today from 10.00 in city polyclinics No.1 and No.2, and tomorrow the campaign will be held in “Aray” Park zone and at the Republican research and production transfusion medicine center," astana.kz refers to the media office of the organizational committee for preparation and conduct of festive arrangements for the City Day.
According to the plan, the campaign will involve 250-300 people. The organizers ask all residents of the capital to take part in it, because the demand for blood has increased 2-fold in Astana amounting to approximately 100 liters per day, according to the data of medical institutions. This is connected with the increase of new medical facilities in the city and operations carried out there, the number of which reaches over 83 000 per year. That is why it is important to attract all healthy residents of our city to donation. Donating blood we can save someone’s life.
