President received Chairman of Agency for Communications & Information

Chairman of the Agency for Communications and Information Askar Zhumagaliyev reported to the President on the current work of the Agency, and plans for the development of the national information space, taking into account the implementation of the tasks of the State Program "Information Kazakhstan - 2020", the official website of Akorda informed.
Nursultan Nazarbayev noted the Agency should deal with important tasks set before it effectively.
The head of the Agency told about situation in sphere of communication and information, work of the public mass media measures to incentive media market and increase content quality.
Besides, Askar Zhumagaliyev briefed on development of domestic segment of Internet and of digital TV introduction.
Following the meeting, the Head of State gave a number of concrete instructions.
