‘100 Concrete Steps’ national plan’s interim outcomes reviewed by National Commission for Modernization
At the meeting of the National Commission for Modernization chaired by Prime Minister Askar Mamin involving Mazhilis Speaker Nurlan Nigmatulin considered the work in 2019 on the implementation of the National Plan “100 Concrete Steps to Implement the Five Institutional Reforms of First President – Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev”, Strategy2050.kz informs with reference to primeminister.kz.
“First President – Elbasy Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev and Head of State Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev set the task to improve the quality of life and increase the welfare of our citizens. Its decision depends on the quality implementation of the Plan of the Nation ‘100 Concrete Steps,” said Askar Mamin.
So far, out of 100 steps of the Nation Plan, 59 steps have been completed and taken out of control, 3 steps are implemented within the framework of the Rukhani Zhangyru program and are controlled by the National Commission for the Modernization of Public Consciousness.
Minister of National Economy Ruslan Dalenov, Minister of Agriculture Saparkhan Omarov, Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development Beibut Atamkulov, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mukhtar Tleuberdi, Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Askar Zhumagaliyev, Minister of Healthcare Yelzhan Birtanov and others reported on the progress of the remaining 38 steps.
Particular attention is drawn to the need to increase the pace of steps to attract strategic investors in the tourism sector, attract a single operator to maintain and develop road transport infrastructure, attract TNCs to the processing sector to ensure access to world markets, the development of private medicine, etc.
The head of government instructed to continue active work on the full and high-quality implementation of the National Plan.
