To ensure and timely opening of this period, in the first quarter of this year, preparatory work was completed in full. In particular, 3,814 navigational signs, 3 navigable locks and 147 vessels of the technical fleet were manufactured and repaired.
On average, the period of the navigation season in Kazakhstan lasts 196 days.
