President appoints new Head of the State Security Service

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has inked the decrees on appointments, Strategy2050.kz reports with reference to the Akorda press service.
Upon the decree, Kalmukhanbet Kassymov is now the new Head of the State Security Service of Kazakhstan.
“Kassymov Kalmukhanbet Nurmukhanbetovich is appointed the Head of the State Security Service of Kazakhstan,” the decree reads.
He has also been relieved of the post of the Assistant to the President - Secretary of the Security Council of Kazakhstan.
Anuar Sadykulov takes on the position as the Deputy Chairman of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan - Director of the Special Purpose Service "A", while leaving his post as the Head of the State Security Service.
Azimkhan Zhussipov has been relieved of the post of the Deputy Head of the State Security Service on the Head of State’s instruction.
