K.Tokayev met with Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan

During the meeting, issues of bilateral trade and economic partnership and cooperation in the transport and logistics sphere were discussed, Akorda’s reported.

Having thanked Nikol Pashinyan for the hospitality and high level of organization of the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the established confidential dialogue between the countries.

“The Kazakh people show the warmest feelings to the Armenian people. The desire to develop relations between our countries is very big. We need to pay special attention to trade and economic cooperation. It is necessary to intensify the work and look for additional opportunities”, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized.

Nikol Pashinyan expressed confidence in the further intensification of the Kazakh-Armenian interaction in the economic sphere.

“Our trade and economic relations have recently intensified. But, I think, our potential is much greater. We need to work on realizing this potential, the Eurasian Economic Union opens up new opportunities for our countries”, the Prime Minister of Armenia said.
