E Kazakhstan, South Korean companies agrees to implement joint projects on energy-saving technologies

The Mayor’s office of East Kazakhstan region and South Korean companies have signed a number of agreements on joint projects on energy saving technologies. They formed the basis of a memorandum of mutual cooperation, signed during the official visit of the EKR delegation headed by Mayor Berdybek Saparbayev to the Republic of Korea

There will be the issues on use of "green" technologies, recycling coal industry, which will result in adjusted production used for wool insulation, wallpaper, and silicone for the accumulation of solar energy.

"These projects are initiated by both parties. Mutual interest to them is due to the preparations for the international specialized exhibition "EXPO 2017", that Kazakhstan is entrusted to host," Berdybek Saparbayev said.

The issues on construction of the east-processing plants of deer antlers, Altai honey and hydropower station are also discussed during a meeting with Korean businessmen in Seoul. The representatives of the business community of Chuncheon-si and EKR agreed on joint implementation of several social projects, including the assembly of ambulances at the "SemAZ" plant, training of medical workers and others.
