Kazakhstan wrestlers won 10 gold medals at II World Cup, III Asian Championship in kazakh kures

In Karaganda, in the boxing center named after Serik Sapiyev, held competitions of the World Cup II, VIII and Asian Championship Absolute Championship of Kazakhstan in kazakh kures.

25 athletes from all over the country took part in competitions the national team of Kazakhstan. In addition, the teams came from India, Russia, the UK, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Armenia, Tajikistan, Mongolia, China, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Poland, Iraq, Yemen, Palestine, Pakistan and Greece.

"We consider your participation in the World Cup in kazak kures as a tribute to our nation's sporting traditions. For us it is very important that the World Cup is held in Kazakhstan for the first time and in our city," the mayor Abelgazi Kusainov said at the opening of the event.

According to the press service,the athletes of Kazakhstan won five medals in the II World Cup, including 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze.

Asylkhan Barmenov (the Karaganda region), Adrak Kulzhanov (Zhambyl) and Kuanysh Muratov (East Kazakhstan) were awarded the gold medals .

Beybit Ystybaev of Zhambyl region and Baurzhan Abilkas of Karaganda were awarded silver and bronze medals respectively.

Kazakhstan athletes won seven gold and six bronze medals at the III Asian Championship .

Medet Adyhanov Bekzat Akhmetbekov (both from Karaganda region), Guzman Kyrgyzbai (Almaty), Kuanysh Iskakov and Bekzat Manasbaev (both of the East Kazakhstan region) Begimhan Adilbek (Zhambyl Oblast) and Max Herbert (Kostanay) awarded gold medals.

Talgat Shegenov (Kostanay), Gani Keldykulov (Almaty), Bakdaulet Tolegenov (Kyzyl-Orda region), Yerlan Estec (Astana) and Erkebulan Nurahmetov, Muhith Tursinov (both from East Kazakhstan region) won the bronze medals. 

During the event the President of the World Federation in Kazakh kures Serik Tukeev handed gold medals Mayor of Karaganda oblast Abelgazy Kusainov and President of kazakh kures Victor Lim for the contribution to the sport . The representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan Agency of Sport and Physical Education also handed Victor Lim Breastplates for contribution to the development of sport of the country.
