On Thursday, December 20, the ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Singapore and in combination in Australia Erlan Baudarbek-Kozhatayev acquainted representatives of a political and business community of Western Australia staff with basic provisions of the Address of the President N. Nazarbayev to the people "Strategy "Kazakhstan – 2050": The new political policy of the established state", the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of RK reported.

During the held presentation the mayor Lisa Scaffidi expressed confidence that new long-term reference points of the country will allow to provide modernization of national economy and wellbeing to the people of Kazakhstan. The Australian politician  congratulated the Kazakhstan people on an impressive victory for the right of carrying out the international EXPO-2017 exhibition in the city of Astana, having emphasized relevance of the Kazakhstan subject "Energy of the Future" for the international community. She noted that Perth is "the oil and gas capital" Australia and the only Australian member of the World partnership of the power cities (World Energy Cities Partnership).

The head of department of foreign affairs and trade of Western Australia Simone Stringer (Simon Stringer) noted that transparency of a new strategic course is an important factor for foreign partners and investors. In this regard S. Stringer paid attention that in the current year the prime minister of Australia Julia Gillard also submitted the new foreign policy plan with the main priorities of the country on the Asian direction for the period till 2025.
