Background of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will contribute to successful problem solving - Medvedev
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev continues to receive congratulatory telegrams and letters on the occasion of accession to presidency, the press service of Akorda informed.
President of the Swiss Confederation, Uli Maurer, assured that Switzerland will seek to further deepen cooperation with Kazakhstan, as well as to cooperate within the framework of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.
Expressing warm congratulations to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Sultan of Oman, Qaboos bin Said, assured that Oman is focused on further strengthening comprehensive partnership and development of friendly relations with Kazakhstan.
Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers in the Sultanate of Oman, Fahd Al-Said, also sent his congratulations. He wished success and prosperity to the people of Kazakhstan, and also expressed confidence in strengthening relations between the countries.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev congratulated Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, having noted that the two countries are linked by centuries-old bonds of friendship and cooperation. The Head of Azerbaijan expressed confidence in the further development and expansion of interstate relations.
The President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, in his congratulations noted the closeness and productive cooperation between the countries, and also wished the Kazakh citizens well-being, having expressed confidence in the full development of bilateral ties.
Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, stressed that Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has a lot of background, which will contribute to the successful solution of large-scale tasks as the Head of State.
“I would like to confirm our readiness to step up joint work on the government line in order to further strengthen friendly Russian-Kazakh relations of friendship and partnership, and deepen cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, humanitarian and other spheres”, the telegram reads.
UN Resident Coordinator, Norimasa Shimomura, wished success and prosperity to the people of Kazakhstan and assured that the UN will assist in the development agenda of Kazakhstan, promoting sustainable development goals.
UNCTAD Secretary-General, Mukhisa Kituyi, wished Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev success in his presidency and expressed readiness to continue mutually beneficial cooperation.
President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, George Tsereteli, and Secretary General of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Roberto Montella, also sent their congratulations and expressed hope for further strengthening and developing of relations with Kazakhstan.
