Kazakhstan shows interest in conduction of joint work on improving social security system

Secretary of State of Kazakhstan Gulshara Abdykalikova met with Secretary-General of the International Social Security Association (ISSA) Hans-Horst Konkolewsky, the press-service of the Akorda informs.

Minister of labor and social protection of population Tamara Duisenova also took part in the meeting.

G.Abdykalikova stressed that ISSA plays an important role in implementing a unified world policy in the field of social protection of the population. Since 2012 Kazakhstan, being a member of ISSA, supports the aims of the association and is interested in carrying out joint work to improve the social security system.

The Secretary of State noted that our country conducts a consistent policy in the field of social protection of the population, which was outlined in the Concept of Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2030.

G.Abdikalikova focused on the fact that today, as a result of social and economic achievements, Kazakhstan adjusts matters of promoting employment and development of mass entrepreneurship, creating a sustainable functioning system of social protection of the population.

Gulshara Abdykalikova stressed that Kazakhstan in 2016 was the first member of the ISSA Technical Commission. This is a new impetus for our country in enhancing participation in the activities of this international organization.

At the end of the meeting, the Secretary of State of Kazakhstan expressed Secretary-General of the ISSA Hans-Horst Konkolewsky the successful stay to Kazakhstan.
