“In the annual Address to the people of Kazakhstan, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev focuses on improving the quality and safety of health care. The country has formed an improved regulatory and legal framework of the health care system. The sovereign state achieved some success in this sphere: amount of financing is increased, modern medical facilities are built, new treatment methods are introduced, and equipment is updated”, she said.
According to Zhunussova, the medical workers perceived the regular Address of the Head of State "Growing Welfare of Kazakh Citizens: Increase in Income and Quality of Life" with particular enthusiasm because it focuses on improving the quality of medical services, ensuring the availability of primary health care, especially in rural areas.
“These good ideas for practical implementation are reinforced by stimulation of primary health care workers. Local medical workers’ wages will increase gradually by 20% from January 1, 2019. For this, 5 billion tenge will be allocated”, the speaker commented.
This Address of the President of Kazakhstan for medical workers is a guidance on activities to improve the quality of medical services provided to the population.
“The next step forward is the task voiced in the program document - to carry out digital maintenance of medical records in all clinics and hospitals from January 1, 2019. Thanks to e-passports, this will allow to eliminate queues, bureaucracy, will improve the quality of services by 2020”, Zhunussova summed up.
