During the meeting, the composition and work plan of four working groups established following the results of the previous meeting of the National Commission were discussed and approved.
Thus, spelling, methodical, terminological and expert-technical working groups have been formed that will work out rules and methods for the gradual introduction of the Latin alphabet into the educational system, systematize the terminological fund of the language, and also adapt the Latin graphics to information technologies and spaces.
The meeting participants considered the issue of creating a scientific and methodological center, subordinated to the Ministry of Culture and Sport of Kazakhstan.

Sagadiyev, Minister of Information and Communication D. Abayev, director of the Institute of Linguistics named after A. Baytursynov Ye. Kazhybek, head of the culture and speech department of the Institute of Linguistics N. Amirzhanova, chief scientific employee of the Institute of Linguistics Zh. Alimkhan, advisor to the chairman of "Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan" Ye. Sairov and others took part in the meeting.
We remind that the National Commission for the transition of the Kazakh alphabet into the Latin script has been established in November this year and it is a consultative and advisory body to the Government.
The commission under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan includes: Deputy Chairman - Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Ye. Dossayev, as well as members of the commission from among the representatives of the Administration of the President of Kazakhstan, the "Nur Otan" Party, deputies of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, representatives of universities, public figures.
According to the Action Plan, a phased transition of the Kazakh alphabet into Latin script is planned until 2025. The first stage covers 2018-2020, the second - 2021-2023, the third - 2024-2025.
