Exhibition "Nursultan Nazarbayev: Epoch, Personality, Society" opened in Almaty

On the eve of the celebration of the Day of the First President of Kazakhstan and Independence Day of Kazakhstan, the opening of the exhibition "Nursultan Nazarbayev: Epoch, Personality, Society" was held in Almaty.

"Holding such an important event in Almaty on the eve of the Day of the First President is a great honor for Almaty citizens. Formation of Independent Kazakhstan, its achievements are inextricably linked with the name of Nursultan Abishevich. The first President of Kazakhstan is a creator of modern Kazakhstani statehood. The large-scale economic, political and spiritual modernization led by the Head of State will ensure Kazakhstan's entering into 30 developed countries of the world. The successful development of Almaty, which has become the largest megacity of Central Asia, forming the fifth part of country's economy, became possible only due to the constant huge support of our Head of State. The personality phenomenon of Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev is revealed through examples of significant decisions: it is declaration of Independence, adoption of the Constitution, the transfer of the capital and many others", Mayor of Almaty Bauyrzhan Baibek said.

According to the Mayor’s Office of the city, the Central State Museum will present materials and results of studying the funds of the personal archive, personal library and the museum of the Head of State. It is important to note that the exhibition includes excursions, conferences, master classes, seminars and concerts.

This exhibition features unique exhibits and works of art, originals of the most important documents that were signed by our President during the years of Independence and original photographic materials that reflect the various historical moments of our Independence. Also, the highest state awards of more than 50 foreign states were exhibited, with which our President was awarded, as well as valuable and rare books with dedicatory inscriptions.

The exhibition consists of 4 sections: "The Leader's Way" includes the biography of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, "The Phenomenon of the Leader" - the history of the formation and development of the concept of state building, "The President's Award - Gratitude to the People" - which presents the highest state awards, "The Leader recognized by the world "- on the foreign policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The exhibition will be open until January 14, 2018.
